BIO
Precious Nana Akua Dansoa, known widely as Precious, is a Ghanaian gospel singer, songwriter and worship leader. She was born into a family of illustrious gospel singers notably Daughters of Glorious Jesus, a gospel group that has etched its name as one of the best ever produced in the music industry in Ghana. Precious came to the limelight after her hit song with 2021 Artist of the Year at the VGMA and multiple award-winning gospel musician, Diana Hamilton.

EARLY LIFE AND PROFESSION
Precious is the third of five children. She was born into the Presbyterian Church, but as she grew Precious found solace in the Apostolic faith and now fellowships with the Apostolic Church, Ghana, and the UK. Precious hails from Nsuta Kwamang in the Ashanti Region and had her basic education there. She continued to the Nsuta Secondary school and then later to the Ghana Institute of Journalism in 2015 where she graduated with a Diploma in Communications. She is currently pursuing a career in the hospitality industry where she has interest and experience.

In addition to her professional growth, Precious is exploring and bringing to life her God-given talent of singing and being an intercessor. Precious Ministry is focused on worship, interceding, and preaching. Precious began to develop her Ministry after receiving 2 separate prophesies 5 years apart. The first came at age 13 when a visiting Minister to a church program prayed for her and prophesied that she was going to blossom in the future and God will use her as a great gospel Minister. Precious received the second prophesy at age 18 from a random Pastor in a church close to her house. The pastor called her and prophesied about how God was going to use her to impact society.

MUSIC CAREER
Precious started her career professionally in 2015 and has been in the industry for about 7 years. Together with her spiritual brother, they formed a partnership, “P and K” and released their first and only song together – Mogya be akasa ama me – in 2015. The duo, however, went their separate ways after their song together. She later released her first album ‘Overwhelmed’ with 8 tracks in 2018. She featured the 2021 VGMA Artiste of the Year and multiple award-winning gospel musician Diana Hamilton on two of her songs on the album in 2018. She is currently working on an EP.
